Pamela Pastene

Regenerative Agriculture and Value Chain Partnerships Specialist

Pamela Pastene has a natural way of looking at sustainability through a “let’s make it work in real life” lens. Where others see a strategy deck, she sees growers, decisions, trade-offs, and the small practical moves that make regeneration stick. She loves turning complexity into clear, doable actions that can be applied tomorrow.

If a conversation touches on soil health, biodiversity, or responsible sourcing, chances are it will end with a concrete next step, a smart question, and a bit of contagious energy. One of her professional quirks is simple: if something sounds inspiring but can’t be measured or adopted, she will push the room to answer, “So… how do we make this real in the field?”

Her foundation is both solid and refreshingly cross-functional. She is a Veterinary Physician with a Master’s in Quality Management in Agribusiness, and she has complemented that with corporate sustainability and sustainable sourcing training (NYU Stern, plus an executive program with ITC and CISL/SAI Platform). This mix helps her move smoothly between field realities, business priorities, and the language of global commitments.

Throughout her career, Pamela has worked across technical, program, and global partnership roles, always with the same goal: connecting the dots between farmers, science, and value-chain outcomes. She has led biodiversity and regenerative initiatives engaging 300+ growers across 7,500+ hectares, and helped build collaborations that unlocked over USD 100M in business potential over five years through regenerative agriculture and cross-sector partnerships with global food companies. โ€‹In summary, less theory for theory’s sake, and more solutions people actually use.

In her free time, Pamela recharges the same way she works: curiosity first. She loves traveling, being outdoors with her family, and spending time in the ocean. She is also a professional scuba diver, which probably explains why she’s so comfortable going deep, staying calm under pressure, and coming back up with a clear plan.

Are you interested in regenerative agriculture? If so, you've come to the right place.
