Luisa Fernanda Valencia
Specialist in Regenerative Agriculture and Agricultural Certifications
Luisa Fernanda Valencia has built her professional path on a deeply personal conviction: to speak in order to connect, and to teach in order to transform. More than just a phrase, it is a way of relating to people, to the land, and to everything she has learned over the years. Her experience has taught her that true impact lies not only in knowledge itself, but in the ability to share it with warmth, clarity, and purpose.
โ
Her work is rooted in a genuine connection with the land, with those who work it every day, and with the real challenges of agricultural production. She supports the implementation of certification standards aligned with national regulations and the demands of international markets. But her contribution goes far beyond compliance. She is interested in ensuring that every practice is meaningful, realistically applicable, and capable of generating value both for producers and for their surroundings.
โ
Luisa Fernanda is convinced that profitability and environmental stewardship do not have to go in separate directions. That is why she has oriented her career toward sustainable agriculture and environmental management, with the certainty that producing better also means caring better. For her, sustainability is neither a trend nor an external obligation, but a conscious way of working, one that recognizes the value of biodiversity, natural resources, and the future of rural landscapes.
โ
She is an agricultural engineer, specialized in environmental management, with 18 years of experience in technical assistance and 8 years in environmental consulting. Throughout this journey, she has developed a skill that now defines much of her professional identity: translating technical concepts into practical, simple, and useful tools for farmers. This ability to build bridges between knowledge and action has allowed her to establish close, trusting relationships with those who make decisions in the field every day.
โ
Her experience in production chains that are highly representative of Colombia, such as bananas, flowers, coffee, sugar cane, and avocado, among other crops, has given her a broad perspective on Colombian agriculture. In each of these sectors, she has worked from a social and environmental responsibility perspective, reaffirming the idea that the most valuable changes are those that respond to the reality of the territory and its people.
โ
She has also strengthened her technical profile as a Global G.A.P. internal auditor, supporting processes of improvement, compliance, and market access. This combination of technical rigor and practical vision has enabled her to contribute with an integral, approachable, and clear perspective.
โ
Beyond her experience and training, there is something that adds a deeply personal dimension to her profile: the way she lives her connection with nature. She enjoys overlanding and trekking with her family, exploring nature reserves, and finding in those spaces a way to reconnect with what is essential. She also values moments of silence, a good book, and the ritual of preparing and enjoying a cup of coffee as a pause that invites her to look at life more calmly.
